SERP works on a comprehensive multi dimensional poverty alleviation strategy by focusing equally on the Livelihoods Value Chain and Human Development Indicators. more

  Launched by the Government of Kerala in 1998 for wiping out absolute poverty from the State through concerted community action under the leadership of Local Self Governments, Kudumbashree is today one of the largest women-empowering projects in the country. The programme has 37 lakh members and covers more than 50% of the households in Kerala. Built around three critical components, micro credit , entrepreneurship and empowerment , the Kudumbashree initiative has today succeeded in addressing the basic needs of the less privileged women, thus providing them a more dignified life and a better future. Literal meaning of Kudumbashree is prosperity (shree) of family (Kudumbam). more

  Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS) is an independent society set up by the Government of Bihar and supported by the World Bank. The BRLPS is implementing JEEViKA - Bihar Rural Livelihoods Project with the objective of enhancing the social and economic empowerment of the rural poor in Bihar. more

  Action for Social Advancement (ASA) is a non profit organisation, head quartered at Bhopal and working for the livelihoods improvement of rural poor in over 1000 villages in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar since 1996. more

  GREEN Foundation works toward a well-preserved, diverse ecosystem that will sustain the rural livelihoods of the present generation without eroding the resource base of the future. more

Non profit organisations/ NGOs fulfilling the following criteria can become Project Implementing Agencies (PIA) under MKSP. The organisation should

- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Institution Building & implementing Sustainable agriculture based livelihood activities with rural poor.
- Have minimum annual turnover of over Rs.25 lakhs in the past three years [as evidenced in the past three year audited financial statements.
- Be working with at least 500 farmers
- Have formed at least 100 SHGs/community based organizations for the promotion of livelihoods in the proposed area
- Registration should be in non- political and secular in nature
- Not be black listed by any government department
- Follow transparency norms in financial, material handling, benefit sharing and fulfillment of legal compliances
- Have adequate infrastructure, human resources with respect to the proposed project?
